# Unique monetization & rewards model

Snaps has a marketing wallet and rewards wallet the total emission of which equals to 53% of the total token emission.

It will take 48 months to unlock all marketing tokens. After that period, all rewards for users, content creators and referrers will be provided by selling advertising to brands. Snaps will show promo videos between users' videos. And the total revenue from ad sales for $SNP tokens will be distributed to all participants according to the [Reward Calculation](/white-paper/app-overview/reward-calculation.md).

The Snaps team has chosen the path of development through marketing, which benefits the community of the project, gives each participant the opportunity to earn rewards, and together develop Snaps, making it a top 1 Web 3 short video platform.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://snaps-docs.gitbook.io/white-paper/unique-monetization-and-rewards-model.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
